Andres Rodriguez Lorenzo

Dr Andres Rodriguez Lorenzo is the Head of Department of Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery , Uppsala University Hospital, Sweden. He works in Uppsala, Sweden since 2010 leading one of the most active microsurgical centers in Scandinavia. He is the founder and program director of the International Fellowship Program in Microsurgery at the Uppsala University and his main focus of clinical and research activity is head and neck reconstruction and facial paralysis. He is the co-chairman of several educational courses in Europe such as the biannual Nordic Facial Nerve Meeting in Uppsala and the Facial Palsy: a hands-on course in Vienna. Andres has written over 68 peer-reviewed original publications, 22 book chapters, the reference book “ Facial Palsy:Techniques for Reanimation of the Paraly  and he is member of the Editorial Board of several journals in Plastic surgery.

Dr. Rodriguez is part of the multidisciplinary teams treating head and neck cancer, complex anterior skull base tumors and facial paralysis at Uppsala University Hospital.
